Bobrovy Log lies within the city of Krasnoyarsk on the right bank of the Yenisei, half an hour from the centre by public transport. The vertical is around 360 metres, the terrain covers every level, and nearly a third of the kilometres are black. In 2019 these slopes hosted the freestyle and snowboard events of the Winter Universiade. Directly above the area begins Krasnoyarsk Stolby National Park with its famous syenite pillars, and the cable car carries you to its very edge.

What visitors say about the resort
The hill sitting inside Krasnoyarsk is the main draw: fifteen minutes from the centre, reachable by bus, so a few runs fit into a working day. Visitors like the chairlifts, the views over the city and the Stolby pillars from the top stations, and the soft snow on good days. It counts too that non-skiers have tubing, an alpine coaster and cafes at the base.
Queues, prices and weather attract the criticism. The K1 lift opens at half past eight, yet by nine the wait is already fifteen minutes, and on Fridays and weekends the crowd doubles compared with a weekday evening. Over the holidays the pistes get chewed up, and reviewers say the groomers only appear mid-day. A thaw turns the surface to slush, frost with wind to hard ice, and the man-made snow is often packed into a slab. Many call the prices excessive and free parking insufficient.
