Price leads every review: a day pass at around ten euros is the argument people keep returning to, and the value against Alpine resorts is called fantastic. The lifts are modern and fast, the mountain has several base points so crowds spread out, and waits are minimal. The trail mix is balanced between blues and reds, the off-piste is described as worthwhile, and logistics win approval - half an hour from the airport, twenty minutes from central Kayseri.
Wind is by far the most common grievance. When it blows hard, whole sectors stop running; the northern Hacilar side counts as the more sheltered option. The volcano is bare, with no trees at all, so orientation in flat light is genuinely difficult. Apres-ski is either absent or priced out of proportion, and there are not enough hotels on the mountain itself.
