Hemavan ski resort is located in Hemavan-Tärnaby (Sweden, Northern Sweden (Norrland), Västerbotten). It offers 30 km of pistes for skiing and snowboarding. There are also 10 lifts carrying guests.

Hemavan and Tärnaby are two resorts in Lapland offering skiing for all ability levels. The distance between Hemavan and Tärnaby is 18 km. However, they are easy to reach by car or taxi. The Hemavan ski area has 9 lifts, 27 pistes, 3 children's areas, a snowpark and a Skicross arena. Hemavan also has the Koboset freeride area, which many consider to be the best freeride area in Sweden. Tärnaby has 5 lifts and 13 pistes, including the perhaps most legendary runs, Ingemarbaken and Andjabaken. There are also easier runs for beginners, a retro park and large off-piste areas.
