What visitors say about the resort
Praise reflects that this is Kamchatka's main hill and a serious one: the only chairlift in the region, snowmaking, and floodlights that make evening skiing possible, plus a real vertical and runs the national team trains on. Visitors mention friendly staff, a wide free car park right at the entrance, a spacious rental hall with affordable hire and a workshop for repairs. On weekdays there is barely a queue.
The crowding on peak days draws complaints: the ticket office, the rental desk and the lift loading area are built for average numbers, and when the crowd arrives they merge into one scrum with a long wait for equipment. Regulars advise turning up right at opening, otherwise the first descent is a while coming. Lifts are paid for ride by ride, and an active day adds up fast. The open slope can be genuinely cold and windy.
