HEAD wins manufacturers' cup for sixth consecutive time

Laura Pirovano won the downhill World Cup and Atle Lie McGrath won the slalom World Cup; Atle won three races this season. Franjo von Allmen finished second in the downhill standings and sixth - in the super-G standings. Vincent Kriechmayr brought the team 595 points, winning two races and finishing second in the super-G standings. Lindsey Vonn earned almost as many points - before her injury, she stood on the top step of the podium twice, finished second three times and brought the team 590 points. Other HEAD "rebels" also contributed - Sara Hector, Corinne Suter, Wendy Holdener, Paco Rassat and Kajsa Vickhoff Lie. In total, 39 HEAD athletes finished in the top six at Alpine Ski World Cup events this season.
Team Atomic took second place in the "manufacturers' competition" with 5870 points, primarily thanks to Mikaela Shiffrin and Lucas Pinheiro Braathen. Mikaela won the overall and slalom World Cups, finishing first nine times and reaching the top six 18 times in total during the season. Lucas won the giant slalom World Cup, winning three races and finishing in the top six 14 times.
Rossignol dropped from second to third place compared with the previous season, affected by Federica Brignone's absence. Alpine skiers competing on Rossignol earned 4140 points, with Loïc Meillard, Julia Scheib and Paula Moltzan making the biggest contributions.
Stoeckli and Van Deer followed the top three in the standings.
