Switzerland wins Nations Cup again
At the end of the 2025/26 season, Switzerland once again topped the standings for World Cup points, winning for the fourth consecutive time. The Swiss scored 9,110 points in total over the season, while their nearest rivals, Austria, scored 8,404. Odermatt alone made a major contribution, earning 1,626 World Cup points during the season.

Men made the biggest contribution to the Nations Cup victory. The Swiss alpine skiers also lead the men's standings, with the Austrians in second and the Norwegians in third.
The women's standings look completely different - the United States had the best women's team, scoring 4,548 points. The US women's team topped the standings at the end of the season for the first time in 44 years. Alongside Mikaela Shiffrin, Paula Moltzan also had an excellent season, earning 784 points. Lindsey Vonn also made a significant contribution, managing to score 590 World Cup points before her fall.
