Price is the first thing people praise: noticeably lower than at neighbouring Italian resorts, which is why families come here for a day out. The pistes are described as well kept and chairlift queues as rare, especially midweek, when reviewers say you ski almost without stopping. The panorama gets plenty of mentions - the upper runs look out across the plain towards the sea. Visitors also value the extras: cross-country tracks, a snowpark, a children's park, ice skating and a toboggan run.
The small size is the standing complaint: there are not many runs and a single day covers the lot. The bigger issue is snow. The altitude is modest and the sea is close, so natural cover is often short and the resort leans on snowmaking. On warm days runs are closed by early afternoon because the surface will not hold, and in weak winters visitors reported large numbers of closed pistes.
