Aomori Spring ski resort is located at the northern tip of Honshu. Gondolas and chairlifts take visitors to the slopes beneath Mount Iwaki (1,625 m). The resort has pistes for all ability levels, suitable for skiing and snowboarding. The Rockwood spa resort at the base station provides direct access to the slopes.

The winter sports resort is known for its attractions, including a snowpark and halfpipe, as well as the regular international training camps held here. The snowfall at the resort usually makes Aomori Spring a popular destination for freeriders.
