What visitors say about the resort
Mont-Sainte-Anne is praised for its proximity to Québec City - forty minutes - and its views of the Saint Lawrence River from the slopes. Visitors also like the night skiing, cross-country trails and prices noticeably lower than in the west of the country.
Downsides include wind from the river and icy conditions - the runs here are more often firm than soft. Another issue is that some lifts are old, and the gondola breaks down. Visitors also complain about the short descents.
