Quiet and cost are the draws: there are no lift queues, the pistes are empty, and a day pass costs around fifteen euros, close to nominal for Haute-Savoie. Reviews single out skiing among the spruces, the cross-country tracks along the river, the friendly lift attendants and a family atmosphere without resort noise. The Planets run is recommended for first descents, and there is a small chalet on the hill for a break.

Losing its hardware is what the station is taken to task for. In autumn 2023 the Morsullaz chairlift, in service since 1982, was dismantled, leaving the upper sector without a lift, so skiing now rests on drag lifts, most built in the sixties and eighties. The altitude is low, opening depends wholly on snowfall, and the area runs mainly at weekends and on Wednesdays. The trail selection is slim, with no black runs, and on a Sunday the rental stock can run out.
