World Championships in Crans-Montana to Open with Team Events

The Alpine Skiing World Championships in Crans-Montana will begin on 1 February 2027 and end on 14 February. The Swiss resort will host the championships, whose opening will be combined with team events.

This format was first tried in Saalbach last year. The experience was deemed successful, so it will also be repeated in Crans-Montana. A total of 11 sets of medals will be awarded at the championships - the same number as in Austria in 2025.

Crans-Montana has already published the World Championships race schedule and announced the start of ticket sales.
