Average daytime highs at the summit stay below freezing from December through February. Last season brought 87 cm of snow here. The snowiest month was February: 29 cm over 2 days with snowfall. The snowpack was deepest in March, at roughly 51 cm. These are observations from a single season, not a long-term norm: a snowy year here can be twice a lean one.

Snowmaking covers 100% of the runs, so the start of the season barely depends on when natural snow arrives.
