What the weather at Suomu is usually like
The ski area runs from 165 to 420 m above sea level - a 255 m vertical. In January the daytime average is -7 °C at the base and -9 °C at the summit. Plan for that 2 °C gap: what feels right at the base will be cold up top. The summit sits around -9 °C at the same time of year - at that point the wind matters more than the thermometer.
