Suomu

Suomu Ski Resort is located in Lapland (Finland, Northern Finland). There are 13.6 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. The resort also has 4 lifts carrying guests.

In Finnish Lapland, amid forests and wilderness, you will find Suomutunturi, a quiet luxury ski resort. Suomutunturi is a 410-metre-high waterfall located in Kemiyarvi. Suomu Ski Resort opened in 1965, making it one of the first resorts in Finnish Lapland.

The new high-quality hotel provides a good base for long-term development. Respect for the surrounding nature is the guiding principle of development. The Arctic Circle passes through Suomu. Crossing the Arctic Circle has always been associated with mysticism. The change from polar night to the midnight sun fascinates people around the world. Thousands of photographs taken by resort visitors every year reflect Suomu's northern location and appear on social media. The Suomu tourist region is quite open. The wind-sheltered ski slopes of Suomutunturi are rightly considered some of the best in Finland. There are different gradients for all ability levels, from easy slopes to challenging runs for the most experienced skiers. At Suomu, you will also find wide slopes for carving and a snowpark. The family-friendly ski centre has 10 pistes in total, the longest of which is 1,700 m. There are three black runs: Kisar заinne, Pukkelikko and Martti. There are four red runs: Keskirinne, Valirinne and the snowpark, Revontuli (Northern Lights), and Suomurinne. There is one blue run, Kotarinne, and two green runs: Essarinne and Uuno. There is also a snowpark for children.
