Taos Ski Valley

Taos Ski Valley- a small ski resort in New Mexico (United States). Its significant proportion of challenging runs makes it appealing to confident skiers and freeriders.

Worth knowing

The ski area rises from 2,850 to 3,804 m, with a vertical drop of 954 m. The vertical drop is enough for long runs with noticeable changes in terrain. The upper pistes are at high altitude, so the snow lasts longer than on the lower neighbouring slopes. The season usually runs from 27 November to 28 March.

Pistes by difficulty

The resort has 14 km of easy, 18 km of intermediate, 17 km of difficult and 35 km of expert pistes. A total of 113 pistes are marked.

Guests are carried uphill by 13 lifts. There are 4 webcams on the slopes, showing the weather and piste occupancy.
