Bad Gastein - Sportgastein is a small ski resort in the Salzburg region (Austria). Its notable share of challenging runs makes it appealing to confident skiers and freeriders.
Good to know
The ski area rises from 1 600 to 2 686 m, with a vertical drop of 1 086 m. This drop allows you to ski from the top to the bottom without changing lifts and means conditions change noticeably during the descent. The upper pistes are at high altitude, so snow lasts longer than on the nearby lower slopes. The season usually runs from 11 December to 1 May.
