Brauneck ski resort, located above Lenggries and Wegscheid, is one of the most popular winter sports destinations in Bavaria. This traditional holiday village is just 60 km from Munich. Brauneck ski resort has pistes of all difficulty levels, ideal for beginners and experts. The slopes are wide and gentle near the base areas by Streidlhang, Jaudenhang and Draxlhang. More challenging slopes begin near the top at the Brauneck mountain station. The pistes between Brauneck and Idealhang are mostly intermediate, as are those on the Familienabfahrt to Wegscheid. Brauneck offers an interesting mix of pistes, with many route options, gentle practice runs and a black World Cup piste. Its varied selection has something for everyone.

Because transport capacity is limited, waiting times can be long when the resort is crowded. From the Wegscheid area, the ski area can be reached using drag lifts and the modern Milchhäuslexpress. The six-person chairlift has heated seats and protective covers. The ski resort provides access to the slopes via six-, four- and three-person chairlifts. The drag lifts, tow ropes and magic carpets in the base areas at Lenggries and Wegscheid are ideal for beginners and children.
