Reviewers praise the wide pistes and the sensible spread of difficulty: intermediate runs dominate, but there is something for every level. They highlight the fast chairlifts with weather hoods, full snowmaking coverage and genuinely decent value for money. Logistics help too, with Munich about an hour and a quarter away and well-developed cross-country trails nearby. Midweek it feels roomy, and the black runs come with almost nobody watching.

The modest altitude draws criticism: in mild weather the machine-made snow turns slushy by mid-morning. The area is not large, and at weekends and during holidays it feels tight. The multi-day pass is called inflexible, as there is no way to skip a day, so bad weather simply costs money. The ticket desks get their own complaint: the sales system is dated and slow, and one visitor described waiting close to two hours for a day pass.
