What visitors say about the resort
The praise is for the calm and for the trees: even in holiday weeks there is no crush, the lifts run without jams, and skiing between the pines is rated the best part of the place, which is also recommended for ski touring. The position helps: it is well sheltered from wind and holds snow even when the Pyrenees are short of it. Pistes are called well tended, prices attractive, and there is enough to keep children busy.
Cramped terrain and old hardware draw criticism: the area is covered quickly, there is little going on around it, no detachable chairs and no snowpark, and some lifts are called frankly outdated. Strong skiers miss demanding runs. A separate complaint concerns a full-price day pass sold when only a small part of the area was open, with a refund refused after promises to open the rest went unmet.
