A feature of the ski resorts in the Ural Mountains is their perfectly groomed, even pistes, laid out through clearings in dense coniferous forests. The pistes are ideal for honing your technique, and offer the best fast skiing and snowboarding in the flatland regions of Russia. However, there is practically no off-piste terrain. Nevertheless, the mild climate and stunning scenery of the Ural Mountains are a wonderful complement to a winter holiday.
