Mortos Kalns is a small area in southern Lithuania: four lifts and under a kilometre of runs with less than fifty metres of vertical. The terrain still covers every level, including a short difficult run. The season goes from early December to mid-March, the snow is manmade, and everything depends on whether the frost holds.

Prices win the compliments here: tickets and services are considered good value, especially on weekdays, when the rate is markedly cheaper. Visitors like that one hill holds runs for different abilities, from the children's area and nursery section up to steeper pitches and a snowpark, and that gear is rented on site. For the Žemaitija region this is the only complex of its kind, and the cafe beside the slope gets friendly mentions.
Run length is the standard complaint: they are too short to settle into a rhythm. There are three lifts, but they are called awkward and mediocre, which eats further into already limited skiing time. Opinions on the cafe are divided and nobody calls it cheap. Safety comes up too, with visitors wanting more barriers along the trees. Opening depends entirely on frost: in mild spells the hill stays shut, because machine-made snow would melt away.
