Niseko

What visitors say about the resort
Niseko is synonymous with Japanese snow in reviews: fifteen metres per season and dry powder that attracts visitors from around the world. Visitors praise the combined lift pass for the four ski areas, night skiing and onsen baths after a day on the slopes.
Complaints include the weather: snowfall also means poor visibility, and sunny days are rare. Second, the resort has become heavily internationalised: prices have risen, while little of the Japanese character remains, which reviewers regret. Others complain about the short runs and limited vertical drop.
