The ski area rises from 1,260 to 1,960 m, with a vertical drop of 700 m. The vertical is enough for long runs with noticeable changes in terrain. The season usually runs from 27 June to 27 September.

Treble Cone is valued for its terrain: the longest runs on South Island, steep bowls and freeriding that draws visitors here specifically. The view of Lake Wānaka is widely praised and called the best slope view in the country.
