Altitude and snowmaking hold the cover well into late spring. Linking Schöneben and Haideralm by cable car is judged a success, and reviewers single out the valley descent from Haideralm to St. Valentin and the snowpark with its funslope.

The shortage of demanding terrain draws criticism: black pistes amount to only a few kilometres, and strong skiers run out of ideas fast. The layout gets its share too - reviews say connections and easy alternative routes are missing, a blue link between the Jochbahn and Höllentalbahn among them, while on Haideralm people still mourn the lost descents in the Seeboden, Haider and Panorama sectors. Apres-ski is modest and claims no more.
