Szczyrk Mountain Resort made a number of quality improvements in the 2017/18 season. Around twelve old lifts were replaced by three modern chairlifts with weather protection and a 10-person gondola lift. The 10-person gondola lift is the first of its kind in Poland. This means that almost all lifts are now very modern, equipped with weather-protection covers, and some have heated seats. The only place where you still need to use a drag lift is Małe Skrzyczne. Over the next few years, the remaining drag lifts will also be replaced by very modern chairlifts.

Szczyrk

What visitors say about the resort
Szczyrk is praised for its refurbishment: modern gondolas and proper snowmaking were added, making it the largest resort in the Beskids. Visitors highlight the vertical drop and long runs through wooded slopes.
Criticism focuses on thaws: the elevation is low, and in warm winters the resort relies on snow cannons. Another issue is weekend queues, when the whole of Silesia arrives. Parking is also a frequent complaint.
