Ski resorts in Carpathian Mountains (Karpaty)

The region's largest ski area is Ukraine's Bukovel, with more than 60 km of pistes and its own snowmaking system. In the Polish section, skiers head to Białka Tatrzańska at the foot of the Tatra Mountains; in Romania, to Straja and Poiana Brașov near Brașov.
