Two cableways lead to Poland's highest ski resort. Kasprowy Wierch offers stunning views of the High Tatras and Zakopane. The ski resort is ideal for experienced skiers.

Almost all the pistes on Kasprowy Wierch are of intermediate difficulty. However, they are quite challenging and very wide. The pistes in the lower part of the resort run through the forest. Poland's only two cableways lead from the valley to the summit of Kasprowy Wierch. A modern four-seat chairlift with conveyor loading and a double chairlift take skiers up the mountain.

What visitors say about the resort

Visitors praise Kasprowy Wierch for its high-mountain setting: Poland's only true Alpine skiing, two bowls with ungroomed pistes, and off-piste skiing, which is the main reason people come here. They also mention the historic cable car and views of the Tatras.

Criticism focuses on access: only a limited number of cable car tickets are available, they sell out in advance, and the queue starts before dawn. The second issue is avalanche danger and the complete lack of services on the mountain. Beginners should not come here.
