Changchengling

Changchengling Ski Resort is located in Hebei Province (China). It offers 6 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding, served by 5 lifts.

Chongli District of Zhangjiakou is like a snowy paradise. The ski runs suit beginners, intermediate skiers and experts alike. The best slopes include Yunding Ski Park, Wanlong Ski Resort and Changchengling Ski Field. Wanlong Ski Resort has the longest vertical drop, at more than 1,800 m, while also offering runs for both beginners and experts.

Changchengling Ski Field is located in Heping Forest Park, just 2 km from the Great Wall of China. It has modern facilities comparable only to those in Harbin, including ropeways, excellent ski runs, modern equipment and clothing rental, 5-star accommodation and outstanding restaurants serving several cuisines.

The entire area around Zhangjiakou is filled with magnificent landscapes of snow-covered mountains, enchanting deep valleys with green alpine forests, clear blue skies and pleasant cold weather that attracts tourists, naturalists, photographers and skiers.

Besides the ski resorts, there are other scenic attractions near Zhangjiakou. Zhangbei Grassland is equidistant from Zhangjiakou and Beijing and is a popular tourist destination. The highlight of the grasslands is Qing Shu Dian, or the Summer Palace of Liberation, the world's largest Mongolian yurt, with a huge dining hall, concert hall and meeting room. This resort is popular for its amusement park, horse racing, gliding field, campfire parties and excellent tent accommodation under the starry sky.
