Duolemeidi Mountain Resort - Chongli

Duolemeidi Mountain Resort is located in Chongli District of Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, 226 km from Beijing. The resort covers 57 hectares, at elevations ranging from 1,500 to 2,174 m. There are 9 peaks over 2,000 m high around the area. Snow cover lasts for more than 150 days, making it one of the "national-level ski bases". The windows offer views of the surrounding area and beautiful mountains.

Worth knowing

Since the 2009/2010 winter season, the resort has offered 9 runs ranging from beginner to intermediate and advanced, covering an area of almost 600,000 m2. To ensure the quality of the runs, 90% of the snow is produced artificially. All the runs are named after famous Italian cities and regions: Milan, Bologna, Florence, Pisa, Rome, Naples, Turin, Parma and Sicily

All runs have artificial snowmaking.

Halfpipe.

The detachable 6-person chairlift with a child-safety feature is the first of its kind in China. With a speed of 5 m / s and a capacity of 3,400 people / h, it reduces waiting times and gives skiers more time on the slopes. Two surface lifts are 600 m and 800 m long respectively and can tow 1,800 people per hour. They are an ideal complement to the chairlift for children and beginners.
