What visitors say about the resort

Reviews describe Donovaly as a family resort with gentle pistes, a large children's area, tubing and a ski school. Visitors praise the convenient access from the Banská Bystrica - Ružomberok road and the low prices.

Criticisms include the small vertical drop, lack of challenging pistes and limited appeal for confident adult skiers. Thaws are another issue: the resort is at a low elevation and relies mainly on snow cannons in warm winters. Visitors also complain about weekend crowds.
