Eischoll is a ski resort in the Valais region (Switzerland). Most of the skiing is on intermediate runs - a profile that suits most skiers.

The ski area rises from 1,260 to 2,200 m, with a vertical drop of 940 m. The vertical is enough for long runs with noticeable changes in terrain. The season usually runs from 26 December to 21 March.

What visitors say about the resort
Solitude is the selling point: lift lines are unheard of here, and untracked snow survives for days after a storm. The broad red piste is called perfect for carving, the run down to the village stays open all winter, and snowmaking covers nearly the whole hill. The place is cheap, the village is authentic, and the pass is also valid in neighbouring Unterbach, which widens the skiing considerably.
Old lifts and limited terrain are the downsides. The main chair is a two-seater that was only refurbished, and a four-seat replacement has been discussed for years; on the Unterbach side two slow chairs spoil the mood, and failures have been reported on the lift there. More than two thirds of the pistes are easy or intermediate, so a strong skier runs out of groomed interest fast. Resort infrastructure and evening life are essentially absent.
