Bürchen - Törbel is a small ski resort in the Valais region (Switzerland). The ski area mainly consists of medium-difficulty pistes, making it suitable for most skiers.

The ski area rises from 1 470 to 2 550 m, with a vertical drop of 1 080 m. This vertical drop allows you to ski from the top to the bottom without changing lifts and noticeably changes the conditions during the descent. The upper pistes are high, so the snow lasts longer than on the neighbouring lower slopes. The season usually runs from 12 December to 21 March.

The praise is for the total absence of queues: reviewers say waiting times are unknown on the Bürchen to Törbel link, even at weekends. They like the calm, unpretentious mood, the modest cost by Swiss standards and the token price for small children. Above the treeline the panorama over the Valais peaks and the chain of three black runs, the last of them through forest, get repeated mentions, and the restaurant at Moosalp is called one of the best mountain kitchens in Switzerland.
The thin apres-ski draws criticism: the choice comes down to a snow bar at the top station and an inn at the base, and evenings are quiet. The lift fleet is the other sore point, with a single chair serving the whole area and everything else drag and practice lifts. The terrain is small, a day or two for a strong skier, and reviewers say plainly that you come here for the quiet, not the mileage.
