Leukerbad- a small ski resort in the Valais region of Switzerland. The significant share of difficult runs makes it appealing to confident skiers and freeriders.
Good to know
The ski area rises from 1,411 to 2,610 m, with a vertical drop of 1,199 m. This allows skiers to descend from top to bottom without changing lifts and means conditions change noticeably during the run. The upper pistes are at high altitude, so snow lasts longer than on the nearby lower slopes. The season usually runs from 12 December to 11 April.

The resort has 4 km of intermediate, 27 km of difficult and 17 km of expert pistes. There are 16 marked pistes in total.
