What visitors say about the resort
The praise is for how well the place works for families: reviewers agree it is one of the easiest spots around for children and beginners, with calm slopes, strong ski schools and well-equipped kids' areas. Lift queues are practically non-existent and the grooming is called exemplary. The compact village is another plus, as most hotels are within walking distance of the lifts and no ski bus is needed, and the mountain huts and local hospitality review well.
The lack of demanding terrain is what draws criticism: strong skiers run out of things to do quickly, and the usual advice is to use the village as a base and the shared pass to visit neighbouring valleys. The area itself is small. Apres-ski is sleepy, built around mulled wine and cafes rather than bars with music, so it disappoints anyone after a lively evening, and the lower slopes sit at a modest altitude where snow holds less well.
