Trail information
Folgaria/Fiorentini is an excellent ski resort for a holiday in Trentino. It features extensive spruce forests, alpine terraces, and long, gentle and steep snow-covered slopes. Skitour dei Forti offers pistes of all difficulty levels, so both beginners and experienced skiers will find what they are looking for. Modern lifts, including detachable four-seater chairlifts, take skiers up the mountain quickly and comfortably. An entertainment programme is offered in the afternoon. This is an ideal destination for a family holiday.
Folgaria is just 95 km from Verona Airport. It is a medium-sized resort in the Trentino region of northern Italy, known for its snowy slopes and welcoming atmosphere. It also has an outstanding place in skiing history: Italy's first lift was built here in the 1930s, and a fully developed ski resort was established soon after the war.
Since then, the pistes served by chairlifts have expanded to 104 km. Three new four-seater chairlifts in the 2013 - 14 season connected Folgaria with the previously separate small Fiorentini centre, across the regional border in Veneto. The lifts made it possible to create new pistes - a 1.9 km red run and two blue runs, 2.4 km and 1 km long. The combined ski area is marketed as Alpe Cimbra.
