Glenshee is located near the A93 road, approximately 20 km north of Blairgowrie. The resort is linked across 3 valleys in Scotland, and when all lifts are open, the ski area is quite extensive by British standards. You can ski in relatively remote areas on the slopes of Glas Maol, to the east. The steepest piste in Glenshee is probably the western section, on the Glas Maol side. This slope is served by the Poma Triple lift, installed in 2015. This gives you 250 m of vertical descent straight down. The longest vertical lift line is on Glas Maol, with 301 m of vertical and the highest lift reaching 1029 m. The resort is known for its high-quality natural snow cover, but it is often hard, icy and exposed to cold winds. Accommodation can be found in Blairgowrie to the south or Braemar to the north.
