Hochoetz - Oetz

The Hochoetz - Oetz ski resort is located in the Ötztal (Austria, Tyrol, Tyrol Oberland, Imst).

Worth knowing

Hochoetz has pistes of all difficulty levels. Beautiful forest clearing pistes lead down to Ochsengarten and to the Acherkogel II lift section. In Balbach Valley, you ski on wide, treeless slopes. Easy pistes are located around the Hochoetz mountain station and the Balbach chairlift.

Most difficult piste

The most difficult is No. 8 Mohrenkopf, 1.3 km long, with a vertical drop of 300 m.

Public racetrack - free A permanent racetrack is located on piste No. 1 (Brunnenkopf Süd piste).

Skiline. All modern gondola lifts at the ski resort are feeder lifts. The Acherkogel lift from Oetz overcomes a vertical drop of more than 1,200 m in just 8 minutes. Since the 2016/2017 season, an 8-seater gondola lift has connected Ochsengarten with the ski resort. Most of the resort's pistes can be reached via the Wetterkreuz lift, a modern 6-seater chairlift with weather protection, and the detachable 4-seater Brunnenkopf lift. There are also additional double chairlifts.
