In 1968, Hovden already had an aerial tramway to the summit of Nos mountain. Today, the ski resort is modern and suitable for the whole family. Kutoppen Hill in the Tusseland children's ski area is ideal for children, while Bukkerittet Terrengpark becomes more exciting every year.

The Hovden ski resort has slopes for all ability levels. Easy and intermediate slopes, along with some advanced slopes, run down from the Hovden direction, while the slopes on Hovdenutene range from easy to intermediate. The upper part of the ski resort is above the treeline. Lower down, the slopes run through forests and wooded passages into the valley.
