The Myrkdalen winter sports resort, located about a two-hour drive from Bergen Airport, offers remarkably wide slopes in a snowy paradise. Snow reliability here is among the best, and skiing is guaranteed until May. Two modern six-person chairlifts provide access to most of the ski resort's slopes. Families, freeriders and snowpark enthusiasts will also find what they are looking for in Myrkdalen. The Myrkdalen Hotel, located directly on the slopes, is an excellent base for a ski holiday. When skiing at the Myrkdalen winter sports resort, you will experience the best of Norwegian hospitality.
Most of the slopes at the ski resort are intermediate and easy. The slopes are generally very wide, and some lie above the treeline. There are two difficult pistes beneath the six-person Myrkdalsekspressen chairlift. Another black run leads to Storhaugsekspressen.
