Kandersteg

Kandersteg- a small ski resort in the Bernese Oberland region (Switzerland). A notable proportion of difficult pistes makes it appealing to confident skiers and freeriders.

Worth knowing

The ski area rises from 1,200 to 1,936 m, with a vertical drop of 736 m. This is enough for long runs with noticeable changes in terrain. The season usually runs from 19 December to 14 March.

The resort has 7 km of intermediate, 5 km of difficult and 2 km of expert pistes. There are 6 marked pistes in total.

Features

Guests are carried uphill by 9 lifts. One webcam is installed on the slopes, showing the weather and how busy the pistes are.
