Kirkwood

Kirkwood- a small ski resort in California (United States). Its significant share of challenging terrain makes it appealing to confident skiers and freeriders.

Good to know

The ski area rises from 2,377 to 2,987 m, with a vertical drop of 610 m. The vertical drop is enough for long runs with noticeable changes in terrain. The upper pistes are at high altitude, so snow lasts longer than on the neighbouring lower slopes. The season usually runs from 4 December to 11 April.

The resort has 8 km of easy, 23 km of intermediate, 19 km of difficult and 16 km of expert pistes. A total of 84 pistes are marked.
