Malbun ski resort, located at an altitude of 1,600 m, is ideal for the whole family. It received an award from the Swiss Tourism Council in recognition of its family-friendly facilities. It is about 15 km from the capital, Vaduz, in the heart of the Liechtenstein Alps. Almost all the lifts have been replaced with new ones. All the lifts, including the modern six-person chairlift with heated seats, have excellent hourly capacity. Snow cannons guarantee excellent snow cover. The 23 km of pistes range from beginner slopes to challenging runs. Thrill-seekers can enjoy freestyle in the snowpark. Malbun is also an excellent starting point for guided ski tours. The cross-country trail in Steg is considered one of the most beautiful in the area. There is also an exciting sledging run leading down from a mountain hut in Syutske.
Good to know
Malbun mainly has easy and intermediate slopes. Experienced skiers will find suitable terrain around the Taeli chairlift and on the extensive slopes of Sarezaiyerokhokh. The flat and wide slope near the Schneeflucht T-bar is ideal for beginners.
Sixteen snow cannons cover 60% of the slopes.
There is a valley run from the slopes.
Longest run
The longest run here is the Haita descent, 4 km long with a vertical drop of 300 m. The Haita slope leads from the mountain station of the Taeli chairlift via Vaduz Taeli and through the village of Malbun to the base station of the Taeli chairlift.
Most difficult run
The most difficult is the Race slope, 1.5 km long with a vertical drop of 300 m. The Renn slope is located by the Hochegg lift and is classified by FIS as a slalom and giant slalom course.

Except for the Schneeflucht T-bar training slope, all slopes can be reached by high-speed detachable chairlifts. The highlight is the six-person Vaduz Taeli chairlift with heated seats and wind protection. All the chairlifts depart from Malbun and are very well connected to the slopes and ski runs. There are also two drag lifts for beginners and children.
