What visitors say about the resort
The praise is for the size and the sun: this is the largest area in Carinthia, it gets more sunny days than the Austrian average, and its piste condition is regularly rated among the best in the province. The runs are wide and made for carving, and after a fall there is off-piste enough. The six-kilometre Millennium Express is one of the longest lifts in the Alps.
That same lift draws the criticism: the morning queue for the Millennium Express is described in reviews as a disaster, and essentially one run leads back down to the car park, so it fills up. The second complaint is that the area is no place for beginners: there are many reds, narrow and steeper in places than expected. Reviewers also say there are too few places to eat at the bottom.
