What visitors say about the resort

The praise is for the calm, family character: wide gentle pistes, practice lifts beside the valley station and almost no queues even at weekends. Visitors like the easy approach, with no traffic jams on the way from Klagenfurt or Ljubljana. Snowmaking gets good marks for stretching the season when cover in the valley is thin. The panorama from the top station comes up repeatedly, and the summer bike park has become a reason to come in its own right.

The ageing gondola draws criticism - riders report cabin doors that neither close nor open fully. Lift staff are described as unfriendly, particularly when bikes have to be loaded. The top-station restaurant is called expensive for small portions of average quality. Strong skiers get bored quickly, since there is hardly any difficult terrain, and the low base leaves the area dependent on snow guns. Apres-ski is effectively absent.
