Stari Vrh

The pistes at Stari Vrh are 12 km from Škofja Loka, one of Slovenia's oldest towns, first mentioned in documents in 973. Farms offering bed and breakfast are a popular accommodation option in the area.

The Slovenian ski resort of Stari Vrh is part of the Bohinj ski area, which offers 60 km of ski slopes with 92 marked pistes served by a total of 55 lifts. In addition to skiing at Stari Vrh itself (12 km of pistes), the corresponding lift pass allows you to ski or snowboard at other Bohinj ski resorts, including Bled, Kobla, Kranjska Gora, Krvavec, Soriška planina and Vogel.

The pistes are at a relatively low elevation, so snow cover can be variable.
