Purgatory- a small ski resort in Colorado (United States). The ski area mainly consists of intermediate pistes - a profile suited to most skiers.
Good to know
The ski area rises from 2,680 to 3,299 m, with a vertical drop of 618 m. The vertical drop is enough for long runs with noticeable changes in terrain. The upper pistes are high up, so the snow lasts longer than on the neighbouring lower slopes. The season usually runs from 27 November to 28 March.
Pistes by difficulty
The resort has 16 km of easy, 77 km of intermediate, 15 km of difficult and 13 km of expert pistes. A total of 107 pistes are marked.
