What visitors say about the resort
The lifts and the absence of crowds get the praise: a two-section eight-seat gondola plus a quad chair move people so efficiently that queues do not build even during the holidays. Grooming happens daily, and the main run holds snow from the valley to the top station from December usually into April. Budget matters too - passes and lodging here are cheaper than the Tyrolean average. Access and parking are easy, and the slopeside huts serve decent food at fair prices.
Size and sameness draw the criticism: there are not many runs, the skiing sits in the upper part of the mountain and only one descent really leads back to the valley. Opinions on beginners diverge - the resort markets itself as family-friendly, yet reviews warn the pitches are fairly steep, blue runs are few and there is no dedicated children's area. There is no terrain park either, and apres-ski is essentially absent.
