What visitors say about the resort
No queues and dependable cover are the headline pluses: snowmaking reaches every run, so the resort skis well even in a poor winter. Visitors point to wide, well-groomed descents, fast chairs on the main lines, infrastructure renewed over recent years and easy prices for lodging, rental and lessons. The floodlit night skiing on a long illuminated piste, opened several evenings a week, and the online discounts on lift passes get their own mentions.
Criticism falls on the older lifts, which are widely felt to be due for replacement, and on the fact that not every advertised run is actually open. On-mountain eating places are few. Several skiers reported sector links being shut with no announcement and unhelpful, brusque responses from the slope staff. A confident skier gets a few days out of the terrain before it starts to feel repetitive.
