Foppolo - Carona - Brembo Ski

Pistes and price carry the praise. The runs are called long, handsome and genuinely fun, there is something for every level, and snow cover is consistently decent. A day pass around 30 euros is considered fair. The lifts on the Carona side are called modern. Visitors value the proximity to Milan and Bergamo and speak well of the mountain restaurants.

Management and closures draw the criticism. The area has been shut down before over its operating company's problems, and that fills the reviews: gates closed in mid December despite good snow with no clear explanation, or only two runs open. The Carona to Foppolo link is effectively gone, passable only via a black run groomed at half its width, so people drive between sectors. Some lifts on the map no longer exist and the cross-country trails were scrapped. One guest described the power failing at midday with no refund on the pass.
