The praise is for well-kept pistes: reviewers report decent cover even late in the season thanks to grooming and snowmaking. The upgraded chairlifts get credit, and the area is described as easy to work through without fuss. Value comes up constantly, since a family can ski here cheaply. The nursery area with its magic carpet and a large roster of instructors is well regarded, so the resort is often recommended to complete beginners; the snowpark and the quiet fir forest also get a mention.

The resort sits low, so it depends heavily on artificial snow and suffers in mild winters.
